MMR attorneys William J. Niehoff and Laura E. Schrick obtained summary judgment in the amount of $467,000 in favor of their client in a suit pending in St. Clair County, Illinois. The suit alleged that certain former officers and directors of a contracting company breached their fiduciary duties to shareholders
Niehoff and Schrick represented the Court appointed Receiver in this litigation to recover certain bonus payments and equipment leases and argued that these transactions constituted impermissible self-dealing under Illinois and Delaware law.
